Anthony Mangicapra

Anthony Mangicapra, born February 20th 1975 Era Vulgaris, in South Florida, is a self taught painter, draughtsman and sound artist.
His painting and drawings show a great reverence for the works of Austin Osman Spare, Hans Bellmer and Francis Bacon to name just a few. Mangicapra is also well known for his sonic structures under the moniker of Hoor-paar-Kraat which have been releases on his own Goat Eaeter Recordings since 1999.
His work has graced the covers of albums by The Second Hand Outfit & DNME, "Sword of the Golem" a novel by J.H. Minde & K. Tucker as wellas publications from Thee Temple of the Psychick Youth and various other such organizations for the study of the mystic and hermetic arts.
