Anticholerinergics
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Anticholerinergics are a group of drugs that antigonize acetylcholine receptors. Atropine is the prototype anticholerinergic derived from the deadly nightshade (Atropa belladonna) plant.
Acetylcholine receptors are divided into nicotinic and muscarinic groups. See nicotinic receptors and and muscarinic receptors for more information.
