Antonia Okonma

Antonia Okonma (born July 1983 in London, England) is a British Actress born of Nigerian descent. She is best known for playing the role of Darlene Cake in the ITV1 series Bad Girls from 2004-2006.
In 2004, Okonma won a GAB Award for Best Newcomer and a Screen National Award for Best emerging talent for her work in Bad Girls.
Her other work includes roles in the British feature films Screaming blue murder and Rabbit Fever and appearances in the shorts Ruf 992m and Redemption. She once worked as an Extra on an episode of Hollyoaks and appeared in a Commercial for NTL.
On stage, Okonma has acted at the Royal Court and the Riverside Studios.
Okonma has also taken part in the Reality TV programmes Strictly African Dancing which was part of the BBC's Africa season, Britain's Worst Celebrity Driver, ITV's ill fated Celebrity Wrestling, Cruel Summer and performed as Diana Ross on celebrity Stars in Their Eyes.
Okonma is 5'11, has a degree in Accounting and Finance and trained with the Royal Court Young peoples theatre for two years.
Her brother suffers from from Sickle Cell Anemia, she is a supporter of many charities related to the disease and an outspoken public speaker.
