Talk:Anthem of Byelorussian SSR

[edit] Why Belorussian?
The current name of the country "Belarus", was created in 1991 with the independence declared of the Byelorussian SSR. They use "Belarus", transliteration of the country's name in their native language (Беларусь), instead of "Byelorussia" or "Belorussia", transliteration of the country's name in Russian (Белоруссия), just like Moldova (changed from "Moldavia" given by Russians). So, please note that during the time of the existence of the Byelorussian SSR, there were no such words called "Belarus", "Belarusian "or "Belarusan". That is why I change it back. (Of course, "Byelorussian" is also okay) --Kibinsky 15:26, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
