Talk:Anthony Green (musician)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Has released two or more albums on a major label or one of the more important indie labels (i.e. an independent label with a history of more than a few years and a roster of performers, many of which are notable)." Circa Survive has released TWO releases, and Anthony Green has been in two other bands that released one or more releases. Circa Survive's EP and LP were both released on Equal Vision Records, which im pretty sure has been around since the late 1990s.
"Has gone on an international concert tour, or a national concert tour over notable musical venues in at least one large or medium-sized country*, reported in notable and verifiable sources." Anthony Green definitely has gone on MANY international and national concert tours with his previous bands, and is about to embark on his own solo tour, so he does meet the wikiproject music criteria for importantance.

[edit] Anthony
First, that saosin flew Antony out from the east coast numerous times to be a part of the band, and that his departure had to do greatly with the fact the band gave him constructive criticisim.
Also, that Anthony does AMAZING and stays drug free because he can
[edit] "Green is onyl 2 inches tall."
while funny, it is not encyclopediatic. i decided to be bold and delete it. as well as i decided to delete the immature "ooh, you are so gay" shit of some immature idiot, who probably should be shot.
[edit] Gay porn...
"Besides that, he is also know for turning his male fans into little gay boys who will do anything for Anthony Green. Most forget about girls after this happens. Some people like to think that he uses spells, or magic to have this power over people. We will never know." Wtf? Should that really be in here? And also, most of the gay boys forget about girls? Don't all gay guys pretty much forget about girls? --CoastTOcoast533 22:57, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] libel?
"Beau Burchell said of Green's departure, "Well, we felt like he was having problems in certain areas, so we kind of confronted him about it, but he took it the wrong way, and thinks that we don't like him. He changed his phone number after he quit the band, so I haven't heard from him since. I tried instant messaging him today, but he didn't respond. It kind of sucks, because we spent so much money flying him out to California and then back to Philadelphia all the time. We even gave him extra money to live out of our own pockets. So, obviously we were upset when he quit on us at the last minute, and then just told us to deal with it. It really screwed us."[3]"
-wouldn't this be considered somewhat libelous? this would better belong on a saosin page, not here.

---Agreed
Someone transfer the saosin Departure to the Saosin page. Its potentially libelous, and frankly its misleading. Green stated in interview that he left saosin because he had little control over the music, didn't like it, and was miserable in california (and saosin stated they didn't give him any control over the music after the release of thier first album, this interview was on punknews.org). I'd do the edit my self but the last time i tried to delete a section of an article that long, they told me it was vandalism and would ban me from editing if i did ti again
