[edit] Signatures of editors I know
This is meant to be a quick reference guide of signatures because I prefer to refer to editors here as they sign. (Also the order of the list isn't necessarily an indication of my feelings toward the signatures owner. It is instead in the order of those I was talking to the most when I got this idea) Tilman - Orsini - Smee - Merkinsmum - Justanother - Steve Dufour - Johnpedia - Cbrown1023 talk - The Hybrid - Daniel Bryant - TBCΦtalk? - Shenme - Ubiq - Wikidudeman (talk) - Info999 - Sm1969 - Xxxxxxxxxxx - Anynobody 06:53, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] The Irony of a Fabrication
As much as this guy seems to know about the Catholic church, he could have probably just let his knowledge speak for itself. I think he would have gotten more enjoyment from using his knowledge to impress people with real degrees by not having one, yet being able to hold discussions at their level. [edit] Ideology, Bullies, et al
Anynobody: thanks for your support. I think we both know the deal with Hybrid and Ramsquire. They seem real young, very inexperienced, and awful quick to take any criticism personally. Both, in their own way, seem to resort to bullying in order to get their way on edits. To protect what they think of as their "reputation", they're very quick to accuse others of "personal attacks" (unless one is willing to take it to the Nth degree, the person who cries "ad hominem!" first usually wins - and, ironically, is usually the only one actually engaging in personal attacks). If patriotism is the last refuge of scoundrels, crying wolf on "personal attacks" is the last refuge of those without a leg to stand on, argument-wise. They can protect their hero BillO all they want - it's kind of poetic, though sad, that they're doing it in much the same way that Bill himself "wins" arguments. I for one am dropping it, and suggest that you do the same. Good luck.--Info999 02:57, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
I agree, they both seem a bit sensitive when dealing with an opinion that differs from their's. I don't mean to trivialize their predilection to make offensive statements, but I have to say at least Hybrid apologized and admitted a mistake. I think when they mature a bit they'll be easier to deal with on an opposing side. As to the BOR article, I've got other stuff on my plate right now so I was planning to take it off my watchlist anyway. Thanks for your support too. Anynobody 03:34, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
