Ape Escape or Saru Getchu ~ON AIR~ (in Japan) is a computer-generated imagery-based animated television series, based on Sony's best-selling video game franchise Ape Escape. The anime debut as part of TV Tokyo's thirty-minute Oha Coliseum segment. Saru Getchu episodes are approximately 10 minutes long; the remaining time-slot was originally filled with Rockman EXE Beast+ episodes but has since been replaced by Ryusei no Rockman episodes as of October 7, coinciding with the start of the second Saru Getchu season (with the added "2nd" to the title).
To distinguish between the English and Japanese versions of the anime (assuming the anime is ever dubbed), the English version will be referred to as Ape Escape and the Japanese version will be referred to as Saru Getchu.

There are 26 episodes in the first season (unofficially titled "1st"). The second season (officially titled "2nd") is still airing with an unknown amount of episodes. The number of episodes may be partially dependent on the number of episodes Ryusei no Rockman has because both Rockman EXE Beast+ and the first season of Saru Getchu concluded with the same amount of episodes.
