APSRTC (Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation) is the leading transport corporation in Andhra Pradesh State, India. It runs thousands of buses all over the state and also runs hundreds of buses to other states. It has introduced A/C Volvo buses, named them as "Garuda".
It's the worlds largest transport organization with a fleet of 19,000+ buses and growing, offering a wide fleet services in southern parts of India. Apsrtc is the largest road transportation company in the world. Also, it is noted in guinesses book for having the most buses. About 20,000 buses are daily run on roads of Andhra Pradesh helping 500,000 people reach their destinations every day. In the capital city of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, 4,000 city buses ciruclate the city every day from 6:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
In Hyderabad, there are different city buses and they are the ordinary, metro express (semi-luxury), metro liner (luxury) and veera (luxury).
