APS Combined Swimming & Diving Championships
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The APS Combined Swimming & Diving is an aquatics competition held between the eleven independent schools of the Associated Public Schools of Victoria.
The boys' premiership finals are annually held on a night in late March at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC), but more recently during the day in the 10-lane outdoor pool at Kardinia Aquatic in Geelong. The winning school is awarded the E.M. Davidson Trophy. Only three schools have ever won the APS Combined Swimming and Diving premiership: Scotch College (11 premierships; 1990-1997 and 1999-2001), Haileybury College (8 premierships; 1987-1989, 1998, 2004-2007) and Caulfield Grammar School (2 premierships; 2002 and 2003).
- Since 2000, only 5 schools have been placed in the Top 3 at the APS Boys' Combined Swimming & Diving finals; Haileybury College, Scotch College, Caulfield Grammar, Xavier College and Wesley College
