Are We There Yet is also the title of John Reuben's first album.

Are We There Yet? is also the title of a play by New York writer Garth Wingfield. It had its US premiere at Synchronicity Space, New York City on April 23rd 1999 and had its UK premiere at The Latchmere Theatre, London on January 17 2001.

Are We There Yet? is a 2005 comedy film, directed by Brian Levant. It was Columbia's second biggest movie of 2005,^{[citation needed]} demonstrating a broad appeal of a cast featuring African Americans. Even though it received scathing reviews by critics[http://www.metacritic.com/film/titles/arewethereyet?q=Are%20We%20There%20Yet#critics 1, it grossed $82 million and sold 3.7 million DVDs.

The film was mostly shot on location in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, including a view of the Financial District skyscrapers and the hip downtown scene near the film's conclusion. A sequel, Are We Done Yet?, will be released in 2007.

Nick Pearsons, a bachelor who specializes in sports collectibles, finds himself highly attracted to the bright, stunning, radiant Suzanne Shaw Kingston (played by Nia Long), until he realizes she has two children, daughter Lindsey Kingston and son Kevin Kingston. Lindsey is thirteen years old and her younger brother is seven years old. Suzanne's children strongly believe that the only man suitable for her is their estranged father that they haven't seen for quite a long while.

When Suzanne is stuck in Vancouver due to a business trip, she is left miserable and missing her kids. Furthermore, the children's dad who was supposed to be looking after them for the weekend has cancelled at the last minute saying that he was sick. This turned out to be a lie (Lindsey and Kevin passed his house later in the movie discovering he moved on with a new wife and a kid, completely forgetting about his former relationships). This left them heartbroken because they really missed him so. Lindsey and Kevin do their best to make Nick's trip as nightmarish as possible. Seizing the opportunity to win Suzanne over Nick offers to transport them from Portland to Vancouver, despite the fact that he despises children.

The road trip seems to be a disaster from the outset, as Nick faces numerous mishaps in quick succession.

Tagline: 24 hours. 350 miles. His girlfriend's kids. What could possibly go wrong?

Are We There Yet? was filmed in Campbell River, British Columbia, the Vancouver International Airport (disguised as Portland International Airport), and Portland, Oregon. Most of the film was shot in Vancouver, British Columbia. The highway by the shoreline is on the drive to Whistler. The suspension bridge is above Stanley Park, and they drive over one of the many bridges that connect downtown with the southern part of the city.

The train featured in the movie is VIA Rail. In reality, VIA Rail travels only in Canada. The Amtrak route is the Amtrak Cascades which goes through Seattle. The Pacific Central Station in Vancouver is a local landmark.

Actor Ice Cube stated on Late Night with Conan O'Brien that this film was originally intended as an Adam Sandler vehicle.

In the car, when Kevin is playing a videogame, you can see a brief shot of what appears to be a Gamecube controller.

The Hampster Dance is one of the songs that was played in the car, along with 50 Cent "What Up Gangsta"?
The film is the third time that Ice Cube and Nia Long appear togther in a motion picture, the first being Boyz N The Hood (1991), and the second being Friday (1995). In both this film and Friday, they play each other's love interest.
