Arizona State Route 280
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
State Route 280 (SR 280) is a highway in Yuma County, Arizona that runs from its junction with Interstate 8 in Yuma to the Interstate 8 business spur. It is a north-south route.
SR 280 is the shortest state highway in Arizona, at 1.33 miles. It exists wholly within the city of Yuma and serves the Yuma International Airport.
From 1969 to 1972 it served as a provisional designation for a proposed freeway in southwest Phoenix. The proposed segment was dropped from plans and never built.
