ArLiSNAP

Art Libraries Students & New ARLIS* Professionals (ArLiSNAP) was created in July of 2006 by members of the Art Libraries Society of North America Student Affairs Discussion Group after the 2006 ARLIS/NA conference in Banff, Alberta.
The mission of ArLiSNAP is to act as a resource for all student & new professional members of any Art Libraries Society. The group's mission is to provide an open forum for sharing ideas pertinent to art librarianship. By doing so, participants capitalize on the shared experiences and knowledge of the art library community. Furthermore, the ArLiSNAP online community provides a safe haven for art library students and new professionals by fostering exploration & scholarship in a supportive atmosphere.
