- This is a really good topic. I had heard about Armenians in India since 1989 after watching a documentary on Doordarshan, but this is the first time I've read so much on the people. User:Nichalp/sg 19:40, August 4, 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks Nicholas. I would further expand the article, and would also like to put some pictures of some historical points of Chennai associated with Armenians. It may take some time, but I will surely do so. I believe this article when it matures may attain the level of a featured article – though right now, I am not sure.--Bhadani 14:43, 5 August 2005 (UTC)
Armenians in India! Never knew such a community existed! Looks like I still dont know all there is to know about South Asian minorities. I will contribute to this page as soon as I finish reading some more on the subject. -User: Afghan Historian

Today the venerable Armenian Street in Madras city is known as Aranmanai karar Street or in the local Tamil language Street of the Palace people. Which is local corruption of the word ArmenianRaveenS 22:21, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
