Talk:Artemis Fowl (film)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Looking for an American actress for the part of Holly Short? Look no further. The perfect actress for the part is Shiri Appleby. She has the cute elfin look and the talent to tackle all kinds of roles. Best known as Liz Parker in TV's "Roswell", she has also had lots of experience in Indie films such as "Undertow", "Havoc" and the surprise teen-movie hit "Swimfan".
Looking for an American actress for the part of Holly Short? Charlize Theron. Also, you need Harrison Ford for Root and Tommy Lee Jones as Cudgeon.

[edit] IMDb link
If the movie's page is gone from IMDb, why is the link still here? Skiasaurus 04:44, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
I think maybe people thought it was a temporary error and the link would be back soon. But it seems it was removed under eligibility rules, as it's been stuck in production so long. I'll put that in now. KittyRainbow 20:14, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
Also I've moved the date for its disappearance back because of this post: http://artemis-fowl.blogspot.com/2005/12/new-version-of-artemis-fowl.html It actually disappeared several days before that but I don't have an exact reference; this is the closest. KittyRainbow 20:28, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
How exciting! They're making an Artemis Fowl movie! Yay!
[edit] User-made trailer
I deleted the link to a user-made trailer because it is very creepy and I don't think people would like to see it. It features a scene with Butler being shot at and there is some kind of punk rock music in the background. The guns being shown aren't exactly the most pleasant thing in the world, even though they are mentioned in the book. If you want to see the video, go to the history and look at the article right before my edit.

[edit] Article?
Uhm...why was the article deleted? --66.99.2.35 20:05, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
- Almost everything what there was was crystal ball-stuff and unconfirmed. --Ninnnu 21:08, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
- I think this article should be nominated for deletion again, per the above comments relating to unconfirmed information, but I'm not sure how to nominate an article for a second time - I had a couple of tries, but it didn't work out properly. Is there anyone out there who can help?--Phil500 (Talk / Contribs) 08:48, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- To be truly honest, I think calling it 'Crystal Ball Stuff' is an understatement. Most of these 'predictions' are fan-made rumors to see their dreams come true for Arnold Schwarzenegger as Butler *scoff*. I don't believe in deleting this article, but maybe removing the fan-ranting cast list and having history on why the movie isn't out already. --TrojanCentaur
This article is rubbish. should be marked for deletion frankly.Flage 05:54, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
