[edit] Infobox
Alright, I fixed that infobox for you. At least I think I fixed the right one. Was it One Night in Carcosa that needed to be fixed? --Wildnox 20:04, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
The problem was really just unclosed brackets(wiki format read the whole rest of the page afterwards as a bad link). Also, you can sign you comments, messages, and responses on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~) -Wildnox 20:11, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Night on Earth Album 1 .jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Night on Earth Album 1 .jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 06:10, 12 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Template:Asics
This template is not encyclopedic in nature and thus shouldn't be in the Template namespace. I have moved it to User:Asics/Signature. Larry V (talk | e-mail) 20:31, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Job for a Cowboy
Hi, the problem is still with the sourcing. The ones I looked at were mostly directory entries (eg. [1] and the tour dates), forum entries (eg. [2]), or web 2.0 sites where the readers can submit content (eg. [3]). None of those are reliable sources and the article as it is right now probably wouldn't survive an afd. If you can find the magazines you mentioned on the deletion review, that would help. More reliable website sources would also help, but I couldn't find anything besides performance date mentions (which are explicitly excluded per WP:MUSIC) on google news or factiva. - Bobet 11:55, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Reply about nomination
I accepted the nomination and answered the initial questions. Thank you for the nomination. Hopefully if I am accepted I can do a good job of it. --Wildnox(talk) 17:23, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your Signature
Hey Asics, I was wondering if you could reduce the size of your signature, as it is bigger than the text usually used here on Wikipedia. If you were to sign your name under another line of text, it could mess up the alignment due to the extra space needed for your signature.
Thanks in advance,
S h a r k f a c e 2 1 7 01:00, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
- Could you also make your signature less of an incredible contrast? This can get annoying after a while. especially with the white background.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 03:31, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re:Job for a Cowboy
I believed it was ready. However, Bobet reminded me that this should not have been done at requests for page protection, but at deletion review. I'm sorry, but we need more of a "consensus" (which is attained at deletion review) to re-create the article in the mainspace. Sorry, but that's just how it is (I forgot that part when I made the change). Please open a deletion review by following the links I have given. Cbrown1023 19:38, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
- We have won !! The Job for a Cowboy deletion was overturned today !! Hervegirod 21:35, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] wiki project Trivium
Can I join the wiki project Trivium, I'm a huge trivium fan. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Metal Lord (talk • contribs) 18:34, 27 January 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Trivium logo
I'm afraid not. The logo itself is copyrighted, and fan art of it counts as a derivative work, and so is actually covered by the same copyright. Your best bet would be a photo of the band that has been released into the public domain, but, sadly, the article does not include any. Perhaps just a generic picture of a guitar or something? Contact me if I can be of any help- I don't really want to join the project, as I have no intention of editing Trivium related articles, but I am happy to help you with whatever you need help with. Another note- don't mention Wikiproject Trivium in the article, instead, create a talk page box, something like this one. I can give you a hand with that, if you like. Also, it would be nice to have a footer box, something like this one to go at the bottom of articles. Again, contact me if I can be of any help. J Milburn 11:33, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
- Again, I am sorry, they are all copyrighted. It would have to be a free image. J Milburn 11:43, 4 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Rock music Wikiproject invitation
Hello WikiProject Metal member.
WikiProject Metal music is important in expanding encyclopedic coverage of the metal. It brings attention to the lesser-known bands, and significantly improves the quality of the famous ones. Five Featured articles and two formers is proof of that.
This is the stuff I wish to achieve with the somewhat recently resurrected WikiProject Rock music. I hope to also attract attention to rock music articles of all sorts, and hopefully change some to GA or FA status. I invite you to come join us, and embrace the links between metal and rock music in general.
Rock on.

[edit] AfD nomination of Oliver Sykes
I've nominated Oliver Sykes, an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Oliver Sykes satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Oliver Sykes and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Oliver Sykes during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. RJASE1 Talk 18:12, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- Not sure about the first question. As to the second, well, No Binding Decisions. Wikipedia is a non-precedential system. See also WP:AADD. But if you know any articles that deserve to be deleted, propose that please. - NYC JD (make a motion) 17:14, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- I could give you the contents of the deleted revision - but what on earth for? We've decided to delete the article. If in a year or two Oli here will marry Christina Aguilera or become otherwise famous, I'll be happy to do it then. For now, I think there's no sense to it. - NYC JD (make a motion) 17:20, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- Precisely. The answer is no. - NYC JD (make a motion) 17:24, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
