Couldn´t help laughing when seeing that Troels Schultz was a member of the Christian Democrats! No, I'm sorry, much as this could be true in parallel world, Troels Schultz, current mayor, is a member of the Danish Conservative Party. Not that it matters much, seeing as his period ends this year, when the municipality of Assens joins 4 other municipalities to become one big municipality called New-Assens (how original!)Finn Brunse will be the new mayor as of 1. January 2007.
