Asteropeiaceae is the botanical name for a family of flowering plants. Such a family has been recognized by very few taxonomists.
The APG II system, of 2003 (unchanged from the APG system, of 1998) does recognize such a family and assigns it to the order Caryophyllales in the clade core eudicots. The family exists of a single genus only: Asteropeia, found in Madagascar. According to the AP-Website it forms a clade together with the family Physenaceae (also of Madagascar).
