Asurion, Corp., is currently the largest provider of wireless handset insurance and wireless roadside assistance programs in the US. Asurion also offers a roadside assistance program and a data-backup service through major wireless companies in Canada. The International Headquarters are located in Nashville, TN while the North American Headquarters are found in Kansas City, MO. The company also provides account management services in Dallas, TX.
The largest wireless companies serviced by Asurion are: ALLTEL, AT&T Mobility (formerly Cingular Wireless), Cricket Communications, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular and Verizon Wireless. While they also provide these services to many smaller, regional providers including: Cellutions, Centennial Communications, Dobson Communications and Qwest Wireless. The companies agree to long-term, exclusive contracts with Asurion to provide these services.
