Atlantic Division (NBA)

The Atlantic Division is a division in the Eastern Conference of the NBA. The Celtics, Nets, Knicks, and 76ers were already in the seven team Atlantic before the merge that brought the Raptors and sent the Heat, Magic and Wizards to the new Southeast Division. The current divisions have been active since the start of the 04-05 season. The 04-05 Atlantic Division winner was the Boston Celtics. The 05-06 season champion is the New Jersey Nets.
