The Audubon District is a neighborhood of the city of New Orleans. A subdistrict of the Uptown/Carrolton Area, it roughly borders around Claiborne St. to the North, Carrolton Ave. to the west , and Louisiana St. to the East. The name Audubon refers to the fact that the major landmark in the area is Audubon Park, one of the largest parks in the city. It is also called the "University District" due to the fact that Tulane and Loyola Universities are located in its boundaries.
