August Wilhelmj

August Wilhelmj (21 September 1845, Usingen – 22 January 1908, London) was a German violinist who in the nineteenth century made an arrangement for the violin from the second movement of J. S. Bach's Orchestral Suite No. 3, known as Air on the G String. Among his pupils was American violinist Nahan Franko.
