Aurora Municipal Airport (IATA: AUZ, ICAO: KARR, FAA LID: ARR) is a public airport located in Kane County, Illinois, 8 miles west of Aurora and 35 miles west of Chicago. The airport covers 1,100 acres and has three runways. It is designated as a reliever airport for Chicago's O'Hare and Midway airports.
Although most U.S. airports use the same three-letter location identifier for the FAA and IATA, Aurora Municipal Airport is assigned ARR[1] by the FAA and AUZ[2] by the IATA (which assigned ARR to Alto Rio Senguerr, Argentina[3]). The airport's ICAO identifier is KARR[2].
