Talk:Australian Olympic medalists in Swimming

[edit] Reformat
I wonder whether it would be better to combine the two tables, to make reading easier. ie.
Athlete | Individual medals | All medals including team and heats |
Years competed | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Gold | Silver | Bronze | Gold | Silver | Bronze | ||
Shane Gould | 3 | 1 | 1 | 3 | 1 | 1 | 1972 |
Ian Thorpe | 3 | 1 | 1 | 5 | 3 | 1 | 2000 2004 |
Also, I think it might be better sorted alphabetically by surname. Article title should be uncapitalised 'swimming' -- I@n ≡ talk 05:48, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Asterisks
There are asterisks throughout these tables, but no footnote or clue about what they represent. Ordinary Person 15:50, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Australian spelling should preside
In Australia, it is spelled "medallists". Hesperian 02:15, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
- I don't mind. I'm quite unfussed by spelling. I would have instinctively used two l's but just copied the spelling from the main page to conform. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 02:18, 12 January 2007 (UTC)
