Wiki: Deleting Personal Email Addr (request to sysop) ---
Hi, thanks for responding.
I am writing to ask someone to delete an email address and real name that I naively entered in an edit summary.
I made my first correction to a Wikipedia entry yesterday (2007 Feb 20 Tue) and included my name and email address in the comments I made. (I just registered today.) Having looked through some of the logs, I now see that there are unfriendly beasties out there and now regret leaving personal info in the log. Who has the capability to edit history logs? How can I reach them?
The article in question is for Chilean biologist Humberto Maturana (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humberto_Maturana). The log entry I made (at http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Humberto_Maturana&action=history) currently reads:
"(cur) (last) 21:28, 20 February 2007 12.155.142.245 (Talk) (I capitalized Julio's last name, i.e., Olalla. Thanks! --my-real-name (my-email-account), former student of Fernando Flores)"
I ask you to delete everything after the exclamation mark.
Thanks for your work making Wikipedia run more smoothly.

- I have removed the edit summary by deleting the edit completely (the only way to do it). So you will have to do the edit again.--Commander Keane 00:13, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
