The Awit Awards is the longest-running award-giving body of the Philippines that gives recognition to Filipino musical talents, performing artists and producers, organized by the Philippine Association Of The Record Industry (PARI).

The Awit Awards has five objectives:
- To recognize exceptional works of music and the people working behind it;
- To promote the Philippine music industry, artistry, and legacy;
- To champion music making and production, at par with global trends and excellence;
- To showcase talents in an event dedicated to music; and
- To reinforce the fight against piracy.
