Azusa Will Help (アズサ、お手伝いします Azusa, Otetsudai Shimasu!?) is an original video animation anime by Yuuko Kawabe (川邊優子 Kawabe Yuuko?) and produced by TMS Entertainment. It was aired across Japan by the anime television network, Animax, and was earlier, in 2003, the second recipient of the annual Animax Taishō, an annual anime scriptwriting competition offered by Animax to award the best original anime scripts of the year.
[edit] Story
Azusa Will Help is set in a future where the rules of sports have changed and baseball teams are also allowed to use robots players. Karugamo High School's baseball team is ranked bottom in the local competition so they decide that it is time to buy their own sports robot to help them win. However, with limited funding, the only robot that the team can afford is Azusa who is designed to work as a maid.
