Hay una gran discusión en el uso de las letras b, c, d, e, f, g, h, o, v, z para los préstamos del español. Por ejemplo bomba atómica en aymara es fonetizado como wumpa atumica, buenos dias en winus tiyas, etc. Como debe escribirse? conforme es fonetizado usando el alfabeto aymara? o conforme aparecen escritos en español?. http://aymara.org/arusa/qillqa.php

I wonder is this Wikipedia even needed? It seems like nobody uses this and all pages are stubs. I think it would be better to close this Wikipedia. qwerty 17:10 15 Feb, 2006 (UTC)
- Hello. This wikipedia is only staring out and I am hopeful that more Aymara speakers will find this Wikipedia. Aymara is a language with 3 million speakers in Bolivia, Peru, Chile and Argentina so it can not be called a small language. Just because computers are not so many in there as in Europe or in North America, or because this Wikipedia is not yet know in the Aymara community doesn't mean it should be closed. For example the newly elected president in Bolivia is an Aymara (he is the first Native American to be elected president in South America or in North America). This can only be a good thing for the future of the language. So I feel that this Wikipedia is needed as Aymara is the second largest native language from America after Quechua and there are all signs that the number of speakers that will be on-line in the future will only grow. I will try to contact more Aymara speakers and tell them about it. Marius 17:07 15 feb 2006 (UTC)
