Operation: B.E.A.C.H./Operation: U.N.D.E.R.C.O.V.E.R. (Boys Enthusiastically Accept Chivalrous Heroics/Unusual New Defector Eagerly Reveals Coffee Operation's Vital Enemy Relevance) are episodes 211/24 of Codename: Kids Next Door. They premiered May 21, 2004.

[edit] Plot/Synopsis

Numbuh 1, wearing a bathing suit, is being dragged by two people out into bright sunlight. He is crying for these two people to stop and let him go. He is thrown out onto a beach. The two people that were dragging him out are Numbuhs 2 and 5. He complains that the beach is boring. Numbuh 4, who's buried in the sand, contradicts him by saying he's having fun and can't understand how he thinks beaches are boring, because he's having fun being buried. Numbuh 3 is building a sand castle where she is the princess. Numbuh 1, fed up, leaves to go home because he is a man of action. He leaves in the SCAMPER from which he was thrown out and leaves the other KND to have fun.

Numbuhs 2 and 5 go into the ocean, Numbuh 4 has fun being buried in the sand and Numbuh 3 finishes her sand castle and proclaims that she is the princess of the whole beach. Then suddenly, three guys dressed as knights (whose armors are made of various beach stuff put together) show up. They call themselves the Knights of the Round Towel and are mad at Numbuh 3 for building in "King Sandy's Royal Domain". Then they use a catapult of sorts to launch a large rock at the castle, destroying it. These knights say that her kingdom has been conquered and command her to serve their glorious king. They mistake her for a princess and grab her and take her away. Numbuh 4, still buried in the sand, notices this and tries to get out of the sand, but to no avail.

Numbuhs 2 and 5 quickly free him, but are skeptical of his whole "knights kidnapped Numbuh 3" story, but he convinces them. Numbuh 2 suggests getting Numbuh 1, but Numbuh 4 says there's no time and that Numbuh 1 is probably on some important mission. Numbuh 1, meanwhile, talking to Numbuh 65.3, who tells him there hasn't been any adult activity to fight today, and suggests taking the day off and going to the beach. Numbuh 1 just groans. Back at the beach, Numbuh 4 says they have to save Numbuh 3. Numbuhs 2 and 5 tease him about being in love with Numbuh 3. He denies it with the excuse being that she owes him a quarter to cover up his obvious love for her. Numbuh 2 questions where they can find knights on a beach anyway and then they all see a giant sand castle (and a very perfect one, too).

Inside the sand castle, the knights approach and announce they've conquered another castle and also have a prisoner. King Sandy is actually a pretty young boy. His knights are actually three times as big as him. He instantly falls in love with Numbuh 3 and orders his knights to leave. He says Numbuh 3 will make a perfect queen and persuades her to get married with him.

Numbuh 4 approaches the sand castle. He's calling to the knights, demanding they return Numbuh 3 at once. The knights think he wants to rescue Numbuh 3 because he's in love with her, but once again he claims it's just because she owes him a quarter. The knights don't take this seriously, and Numbuh 4 gets mad. The KND try to release their own catapult, but it's just a beach ball (they had no choice on short notice), so it harmlessly bounces off of the sand castle. They then try using the catapult again, this time throwing Numbuh 4 himself up over the entrance to the castle. He lands on the roof with the knights. The knights pull out swords and prepare to battle Numbuh 4. Meanwhile, Numbuh 2 asks Numbuh 5 if she wants to be throw up into the castle next. She asks if he's nuts, and says she's just going through the front door. Numbuh 2 shrugs and follows. They go through the very large and obvious front door.

Numbuh 3 is inside the castle, dressed in a bride's outfit. Sandy, meanwhile, sees Numbuh 4 and his two KND friends battling with the knights. Sandy decides they have to do the wedding immediately and takes Numbuh 3 up to the tallest tower. No sooner does Numbuh 4 defeat a knight than he notices Numbuh 3 and Sandy racing up the steps to the tower. Numbuh 3 calls to Numbuh 4 that she's getting married. Numbuh 4 stares, very traumatized, and blacks out. When he comes to, he's bound with Numbuhs 2 and 5 to a pillar inside the castle while Numbuh 3 and Sandy are at an altar. The parson is actually the beach lifeguard. Numbuh 4 asks Numbuh 3 if she's actually going to marry Sandy. Numbuh 3 says, "Of course not. We're just pretending." When he hears this, Sandy is outraged and says, "The king never pretends!" Numbuh 3 points out she can't get married for real, because she's ten years old. Sandy says that's okay, because he likes older women. Numbuh 3 then sees through Sandy's plan and refuses to play anymore. Sandy refuses to listen and has his knights tie up Numbuh 3 and have her hanging upside down. Then Sandy then notices Numbuh 4 is missing and isn't tied up anymore. It turns out Numbuh 4 somehow got free. He easily defeats Sandy's knights, then proceeds to take on Sandy himself. Sandy says Numbuh 4 must love Numbuh 3 a lot, but Numbuh 4, once again, claims she just owes him a quarter. Numbuh 4 and Sandy fight swashbuckler-style. However, just then, high tide starts up, and quickly starts to erode the entire castle just as Numbuh 4 is about to defeat Sandy.

The castle starts to crumble and Numbuh 4 unties Numbuh 3. The two run out, almost forgetting to free Numbuhs 2 and 5. They escape from the castle just before it collapses completely. Sandy comes out from under the pile and yells that it isn't the end, and that he and his knights will build a bigger castle and throw the KND in the dungeon. Just then, Sandy's mother calls for him, saying it's late and he has to stop playing pretend. Sandy again screams that how he's not pretending. Sandy's mother just tells him to bring his cousins also; the "Knights" were actually his own cousins. They all reluctantly leave. Numbuh 3 says that Sandy's actually kind of cute. The others all stare at her. Numbuh 2 and 5 walk off, and Numbuh 4 tells Numbuh 3 to just shut up and give him the quarter she owes him. Numbuh 3 just says she doesn't owe him a quarter.

The KND are bound and chained to a giant iceberg. Numbuh 1 tries to tell everyone to stay calm and not give up hope now. Numbuh 5 says that won't be a problem because she gave up hope long ago. The DCFDTL advance on the trapped KND in a giant airship with giant mace balls on it. It looks like this is the end for the KND... until suddenly, Lenny, one of the Delightfuls' siblings, messes up the ship (he thought he was trying to activate the hammer-wacky thing). The ship takes off and leaves the KND trapped. Eventually, they get free and are on their way home in the COOLBUS when Numbuh 35 approaches and asks them to go to the Moonbase by order of Numbuh 274. The KND turns the COOLBUS to the moonbase.

The team finally arrives at the Moonbase and Numbuh 274 tells they have found a spy at the enemy camp and that he wants them to share some top secret files with him and hands Numbuh 1 a package. It turns out the mole is Lenny. Numbuh 4 instantly starts pummeling him, since he's one of the Delightfuls. Numbuhs 2 and 5 stop Numbuh 4 from atttacking him. Numbuh 274 explains that Lenny was undercover and that he saved the KND's lives countless times. Numbuh 1 decides to agree, since if it wasn't for him, none of the KND would have survived the iceberg.

Lenny then leads the KND through the Moonbase. He tells them that he guesses that his siblings will notice he's gone in an hour since the Delightfuls always take a nap after a mission. He then tells them of a plan that will be better than busting into their mansion: they will cut off Lenny's siblings' coffee supply. Numbuh 1 agrees, since not only is coffee the one drink that keeps adults active and alert, but drinking that stuff must make the Delightfuls as evil as adults. Lenny leads them to a helicopter for just such a mission and Numbuh 274 reminds the KND to go over the top secret files with Lenny after they cut off the Delightfuls' supply of coffee.

At an offshore coffee rig, the boss, Cuppa Joe receives a message from the Delightfuls (who are really the KND disguising their voice to gain access; they're flying in on the copter). Joe asks them the password. When Joe discovers that the "Delightfuls" got the wrong password, he sounds the alarm and his men, the Coffee Drill Workers attack the helicopter. Numbuh 1 comes up with the KND's Plan B. He pushes a button and the copter turns into a SUBSTANDARD (Super Underwater Boat Swims Terrifically Around Nautical Defenses And Rarely Decompresses). The sub then goes underwater, while Numbuh 5 is preparing to exit the craft in a diving suit and take out some of the workings of the rig. Suddenly, the sub is being menaced by Delightful depth charges (coffee cup-shaped underwater bombs) that all blow up around it. Numbuh 1 asks Numbuh 5 to abort the mission. She's about to when the pressure from the sub being attacked by the bombs smash open a porthole and force her out. The sub is then forced to resurface.

The coffee workers force the KND (sans Numbuh 5) and Lenny out of the sub and onto the rig platform. Cuppa Joe comments that it seems the Delightful Children had overestimated the KND's abilities. Lenny retorts that they're the best there is. Joe looks at Lenny suspiciously, asking if he knows him. Lenny says no and then proceeds to introduce himself. He launches a flying tackle at Joe, who just scoots away quickly because of all the coffee he has ingested (six whole cups full), so he is able to move very quickly. Lenny apologizes while Numbuh 4 tries to comfort him by saying he gave it his best shot and that they'll get out of this mess somehow. Meanwhile, Numbuh 5 is still underwater looking for a pipe in the coffee rig. The whole time she is riding a shark. The shark then bangs its head against a pipe until a hole is busted in and she gets sucked up in the coffee. The rig then blows and coffee -- and Numbuh 5 -- spew from the top. Numbuh 5 flies through the air and lands next to Joe. She, too, gets hyped up on the caffeine in the stuff and she and Joe chase each other and fight. While fighting, Joe gets stuck to a vat of iced mocha full of whipped cream. Numbuh 5 then slows down and is no longer caffeinated. In fact, she feels sick in her stomach. The team congratulates her and Numbuh 4 then says to hurry up and scuttle the dump before the Delightfuls show up.

Suddenly, the Delightfuls appear and tell them that they had been there the whole time. Numbuh 1 yells to them that they don't scare them. The Delightfuls then activate Derrick the giant robot and asks them if they scare them now. Numbuh 1 still says no, because they have their own surprise. Lenny looks up and smiles at them. The Delightfuls stare in disbelief and Numbuh 4 taunts them that Lenny had double-crossed them. The Delightfuls calmly ask Lenny if everything went according to plan and he says yes. It turns he was on their side the whole time and he was merely using the KND. Worst of all, he still has the package containing the top secret KND files from earlier in the episode! He goes up to join his siblings in his usual spot. They then order Derrick to get rid of the KND. Before they know it, the KND are in the ocean, after which, Numbuh 4 yells at Numbuh 1 and tells him he should not have trusted Lenny, and adds that he can't swim. The rest of the team just sit there, not moving at all. Then, Numbuh 274 saves them in his own SUBSTANDARD and asks them if everything went as planned. Numbuh 1 says yes and the package was delivered. Confused, Numbuh 4 asks them what is going on. After the Delightfuls got a hold of the package containing the KND files, they found out it was a bomb and told Lenny he was an idiot. Then the rig explodes and the KND had won. Numbuh 4 says that was really good.
