Bailey Tzuke (born Bailey Muggleton-Tzuke, 28th June 1987) is a British singer/songwriter. She has been compared to other singer-songwriters as diverse as Joss Stone, Christina Aguilera and Kate Bush.
Bailey has grown up with the music industry around her; her mother, Judie Tzuke, is also a singer-songwriter - most famous for her 1979 hit "Stay with Me till Dawn" - and her father, Paul Muggleton, is a record producer. Bailey has toured with and sung backing vocals for Judie for many years.
Recently, Bailey has been working with many different artists on her own material; much of this is available to listen on her website[1] and her Myspace page[2]. Bailey's much-anticipated first album is almost finished.
On 8th February 2007, Bailey was made Popworld artist of the week. Popworld commented, "Bailey Tzuke could be the new Joss Stone, thanks to the similarity in age, her boho chic and the ability to write and sing credible songs. This 19 year old does have her own unique style, though - a piano-based folkey sound and pretty vocal lines that have lyrics that seem to really mean something to her." [3]
