[edit] Dance
Thanks for your note. I like your description of Jean Templer, "Unpredictable and self-absorbed, unexpected taste in men". I think it applies to nearly all the women I know. Andrew Dalby 23:13, 8 October 2006 (UTC)
- What an exciting life you must lead, Andrew! Powell manages his treatment of Jean rather well, I think, allowing us to reach our own conclusions about her without hammering points home. Interestingly male and female readers often seem to reach quite different conclusions about Jean. - Balliol 21:16, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
Thank you so much for eliciting those responses about Sillery. A very memorable creation (like so many others ...) Andrew Dalby 13:02, 18 October 2006 (UTC)
[edit] LBC edits
Your contributions to the LBC article would probably be better placed in the LBC 97.3 article, since it's that service that's currently broadcast on the DAB multiplexes and is what GMBC will be modelled on.
- Thanks for that suggestion. I will look into doing this --Balliol 11:48, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] A Dance to the Music of Time
Hello Balliol — I've been meaning to write articles about books 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12 for ages, because there weren't any. I finally get around to it, and I immediately notice that you've saved me the trouble. So this is just a note to say thank you; also for your improvements to the articles that were already there. I'll have a look at them at some point and see if there's anything I can add. Best wishes from a fellow Balliolensis and Powell addict, talkGiler S 15:21, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
