'Banana Hands' is a Boston & Providence based instrumental rock band. Formed in 2004, with the original line-up of Jay O'Malley (guitar) and Ryan Lavery (drums). Banana Hands first full length, Bon Voyage, was released on Brown Book Records to coincide with their first US tour in August of 2006 with tour mates Marah Mar. Following their summer tour three members of Marah Mar Michael Samos (guitar), Todd Bowser (bass), and Daniel Murphy (live video) have joined Banana Hands. They are currently preparing for the release a split 7" with Boston based Bakula due out in March 2007 on Brown Book. Banana Hands is also writing new songs for a future EP to be released in the summer of 2007.
