Barkarby Airport (IATA: N/A, ICAO: ESKB) is a disbanded Swedish Air Force base, right outside Akalla north of Stockholm. Barkarby Airport is one of Sweden’s oldest still active airports, but is today mostly used by general aviation. Close and partly on the airfield a big shopping complex is situated. There are also plans to build houses, apartments and offices on large parts of the airfield.
