Baruch Chait

Rabbi Baruch Chait is a Jewish religious composer, and Rosh Yeshiva.
Chait is considered by many to be one of the most important Jewish religious songwriter in the second half of the 20th century. Since late 1960s, he composed hundreds of songs that still have wide popularity and appeal. He founded several bands - Rabbis' Sons, Kol Salonika and published dozens of records.
Chait also started a yeshiva high-school called Maarava for American born boys living is Israel. In the beginning Maarava created some controversy in Orthodox Jewish world, but now its considered one of the better Jewish Orthodox high-schools in Israel.
