- Edits on the metering mode page are not relevant and over complicate the description. The article was in good shape prior to a large edit that introduced irrelevant information, and conveyed poorly the information to the reader.

- True. Exposeitright (talk • contribs) would appear to be one 'Bahman Farzad', the author of a book on using a spot meter. He first went and spammed his sites on a few articles. I warned him against that and he then went and started adding a lot of material to the metering mode article. I agree that a lot of it was not appropriate for an encyclopaedia, Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information, in particular an instruction manual nor a how-to guide. It looks like he has a lot of experience and knowledge to contribute, we just have to help him to do so in a way that maintains the consistency of Wikipedia. --Imroy 02:08, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
A fair point. On this article it is a let down so few users have made contibutions to the talk area..so that many of us can come to a collective way of conveying the information to readers..in a clear, and uncluttered way. As you may notice I have been more than happy to let people edit my wording...I am sure he does have a contribution to make..but such wide and sweeping edits should at least be talked about ist......and I have to say his edit on spot metering was weak..removing a perfectly good explanation of it..with a muddled one..and pasting lots of images in..that were not part of spot metering.
In the interests of non-commercial promotion. I will remove his link to the book. I have noted these point in the talk area..and invited others to consider improving the article.
