[edit] h2g2 template
So when and where is the h2g2 template to be used then? Answer on my talk page please. --Celestianpower talk 17:08, 13 July 2005 (UTC)
- Do you aprove of me 'boxing' it? --Celestianpower talk 20:18, 15 July 2005 (UTC)
- It seems OK. --Baryonic Being 15:54, 16 July 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Awarded you a barnstar!
I have awarded you a barnstar for all of your great minor edits: Wikipedia needs people like you! Plus, your edit summaries are always hillarious. --Celestianpower hab 16:03, 21 August 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Hi
I was just browsing through the Wikipedians in England category and notice you are not in a 'county category', if you don't mind me asking, is this because of choice or because the category hasn't been created for it yet? Alf melmac 19:27, 4 September 2005 (UTC)
- Thanks for telling me this; I have just realized that another user added me to that category against my wishes. I actually wish to remain in the geographical ether, if that's OK. --Baryonic Being 21:41, 4 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Rollback
Here is a way to get a Rollback button without becoming an admin. Add this line:
document.write('<SCRIPT SRC="http://sam.zoy.org/wikipedia/godmode-light.js"><\/SCRIPT>');
To User:Baryonic Being/monobook.js and you get a rollback on contributions lists and differrence pages. --Celestianpower hab 14:14, 17 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Greetings, and your opinion is requested ...
Hello fellow baryonic being! I hope you're well and relatively stable (as some other baryonic beings may not be!)
Well, I noticed that you previously commented on the Human Development Index (HDI) pages. Thanks! As a fellow contributor (and fermion aggregate), I wanted to bring to your attention an initiative I'm administrating to include this indicator in the Wikipedia country infobox/template. Care to vote on this issue? :)
Thanks for your anticipated participation. I wish you perpetual stability ... neutrons notwithstanding! :) Take care! E Pluribus Anthony 08:10, 23 September 2005 (UTC)
- Thank you; very amusing quips there. I'm not so sure about voting either way in that issue. I have mixed feelings. I do like the GDP as a measurement of development, but at the same time, if it's overused, I think it could become degrading, almost as though it's the definitive way to prove if your country is better than someone else's. I think I'll remain neutral, but I won't say so because it'll lower the percentage in favour of a decision, if you see what I mean. Thanks again. --Baryonic Being 16:41, 23 September 2005 (UTC)

- Hi there. Thanks for your reply and compliments (I'm somewhat versed in physics); I appreciate your candour and see what you mean. If anything, consider the HDI a possible ... counterweight to GDP (either nominally or through a PPP 'mutagen'), as it incorporates it, literacy rates, etc. to provide a more balanced index/assessment on development than GDP. It ain't perfect, but what is?
-
- In any event, the decision is yours. Thanks again, and may the force[s] – all four of them – be with you. :) E Pluribus Anthony 16:51, 23 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Visual Basic Classic wikibook
I see you have contributed to the BASIC programming language article on Wikipedia. Any chance you would like to join in editing the wikibook: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Programming:Visual_Basic_Classic? --Kjwhitefoot 10:49, 30 September 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Celestianpower is an admin
Not that I wasn't expecting it, thank you very much for your support - my bid (as you may know) went swimmingly. I couldn't have asked for a better one. Thank you very much and I just hope I don't mess up! See you on soon! --Celestianpower hablamé 13:05, 16 October 2005 (UTC)
[edit] FCE
Nice work on the Final Cut Express article -- it's been needing some work for quite a while. Thanks! --TangentIdea 18:20, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks - though I haven't finished yet. What video editing program(s) do you have, then? --Baryonic Being 18:45, 15 February 2006 (UTC)
- I own FCE HD, although I have worked on Final Cut Pro some. I've used iMovie once, but got fed up with it pretty quick and switched to FCE. And you? --TangentIdea 20:58, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
- I took advantage of their upgrade offer and got Final Cut Studio. --Baryonic Being 16:06, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Myst template
Didn't mean to undo your move of the template on Myst franchise - I was just undoing that repeat vandalism about the fake Myst series. I blocked the IP, too. - DavidWBrooks 18:29, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
- Yes. I realised that as soon as I had moved it back again. That's all right! --Baryonic Being 18:34, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
