Bassajól (2003) |
Bassajól, which in Icelandic means Bass-Christmas, is the first solo album released by bass player Jakob Smári Magnússon in 2003.
Formed by 12 Christmas tracks, Bassajól was first conceived in 1995 and developed into a formal project by 2003. The tracks are performed with various basses and counted with the collaboration of Hrafn Thoroddsen, who helped in the production and programmed the drum machine on some songs, and Gudni Finnsson in the mix.
