I am relatively new to wikipedia and am looking to contribute to some missing things i have found. I think that the wikipedia is one of the greatest internet sites ever. It has become a valuable and often accessed source of information for me. I am a huge fan of French hip hop and Rap and am presently going through every single artist and group to ensure the information is up-to-date and correct - or if needs be, add them. I've made some pretty good progress so far but i am surprised and how much 'cut and pasting' has gone on. Anything i've done is original or carefully translated. I've tried adding images as i go as well.
I am presently writing my own novel which is principally a dark fantasy novel. I've never written before, though i've been writing and having idea's, for as long as i can remember. I am currently learning how to write in a more 'creative' manner (rather than blurt out any old thing). Although i admire the courage and success of rowlings harry potter novels (rags to riches personified) i prefer to write a more realistic, dark and gritty style of novel. I am writing for myself to begin with - i just hope i can break out one day and do this for a living. Who knows... ?
