Talk:Battle of Hjörungavágr

[edit] Image and more
I found a bunch of such images here. A minor point: It might be a bit confusing when the text uses both meanings of the word legendary. It states that the battle is "semi-legendary" meaning that the descriptions of it are at least partially fictous, but it also mentions the "legendary Jomsvikings" not in the sense that they are totally made up i hope :). That could benefit from a slight rewording, or am I way off here? Inge 12:16, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
- You're right, it's a tricky word and I've used it carelessly. Both the Jomsvikings and the battle have some historical basis - please reword to make that clear :) Haukur 12:18, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

- I changed it to fabled, but I'm not completely satisfied with that word either. Inge 12:30, 24 August 2006 (UTC)
