[edit] Korolev
Article needs updating to reflect the true cause of the ships loss. While it did appear in the season finale that it was destroyed by weapons fire the opening episode of the next series showed the ship was actually destroyed by a nuke they were planning to beam to an Ori ship.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 83.104.138.141 (talk • contribs).
No it didn't, the nuke had nothing to do with the ships destruction. JBK405 03:44, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
Watch the episode! they are in the engineering bay prepping a nuke for beaming to the ori ship, The fuse is activated (length couple of seconds) then ships hit and it rolls off the pad, seing this daniel beams himself there instead as he knows its about to explode, seconds later the ship does explode FROM THE REAR without any direct fire.
- Sorry but perhaps you should watch the episode prior to telling people your theories, the Korolev is destroyed by two instantaneous hits from an Ori cannon. Matthew 13:04, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
I agree the nuke may have played a part but the later video shows the Ori firing upon and destroying the ship. The nuke would likely have destroyed it but the later episode proves that while Asgard shield technology slows the effects of the Ori weapons it is only a matter of time before the Ori cannon destroys the shield and the ship. 70.226.133.209 08:07, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
This is one of the craziest things I've ever heard here! Plus, a nuke if destroyed without detonating will not detonate so it had nothing to do with it. Remember in "No Man's Land", when the Daedalus fired it's nukes at the hive, most of them were shot down before they hit and they didn't make a big explosion, just the one that actually hit.

- A site note as well, had the Korolev been destroyed by a nuke we'd of seen a larger explosion as there is atmosphere within the Korolev. Matthew 12:24, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Pictures
Which picture should be used in the "Incursion" section?
Image:Ha'Tak_attacks.jpg or Image:Deadalus Class Ship -- Absorbing fire.jpg
I think the first one just because it actually shows the battle and the Ori ships rahter than just showing the Odyssey getting hit with fire. Oh, and I added the author info for the first one, it is from stargatecaps.com. They are fine with anyone using their pics. Konman72 10:47, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- The one i uploaded should be used as fair use states that a limited number should be used thus: an image which can be used for more then one purposes fair use argument is stromger then one that would be used on one page only. + Mine has a rationale plus author information. Matthew Fenton (contribs) 11:22, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- I have added a "Fair Use" argument to the pictures site for "Ha'Tak attacks". I really like the Odyssey pic as well, but it only shows the Odyssey getting hit, but the section is about the actual battle, so the other pic seems much more appropriate. Konman72 11:46, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
- Change it if you wish then. Matthew Fenton (contribs) 11:53, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Sorry, I'm not trying to be an a** or anything, really. I want a general consensus on it, I just really like the Ha'tak pic better is all lol. I guess I will change it and then if anyone else objects it can be changed back. Konman72 11:59, 17 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Asgard ship
It WAS an O'Neill class ship, NOT a science ship because:
Here is a pic of it from "Camelot"

http://www.stargatecaps.com/sg1/s9/920/html/camelot561.html
Here is a pic of O'Neill class ships from "New Order, pt. 2"

And here is the Daniel Jackson class science vessel from "New Order, pt. 2"
http://www.stargatecaps.com/sg1/s8/802/html/New%20Order2%5F255.html
And from "Reckoning, pt. 1"

It looks like it's pretty conclusive that it's an O'Neill class ship to me.

- O'Neill class battleship scroll to the bottom, look at the image then the tail fins; It's pretty conclusive the ship is an O'Neil. thanks/MatthewFenton (talk • contribs) 07:37, 30 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Casualties
would you count the ori ship in Image:Ori by by.png a Casualty since it is mentioned in the article? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.62.150.226 (talk • contribs) 13:57, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- I do not believe so, since it's destruction took place long after the actual battle. -- Huntster T • @ • C 19:32, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- Huntster is right, it is not a part of the battle, it is only mentioned because it is taking place at the same place and involves the Supergate. Konman72 20:04, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
I thought the Asgard ship was destroyed in the battle as well. 70.226.133.209 08:03, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
