The BCS National Championship Game 2001 or BCS title game 2001 for the 2000 season was played on January 3, 2001 at the Pro Player Stadium Orange Bowl, Miami Gardens, Florida. The teams were Oklahoma Sooners and the Florida State Seminoles. The Sooners won their seventh National Championship by beating the Seminoles by a score of 13-2.
