Beasley Reece (born March 18, 1954) was a defensive back with a 9 year NFL career from 1976 to 1984. He played for the Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, after attending college at North Texas State University.
He was a sideline reporter for NBC and CBS's NFL coverage and served as an analyst for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics for NBC. During this time, he was the sports director for WVIT (NBC-30) in Hartford CT. He would also work in Tampa Bay. When he came to CBS, he joined KYW-TV in Philadelphia, and became their Sports Director, a position he has had since July, 1998. Reece is an Eagle Scout and recipient of the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award.[1][2]
