Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children was a surreal, kooky non-superhero comic book series written by Dave Louapre and illustrated by Dan Sweetman, published by DC Comics under the Piranha Press imprint from June 1989 until September 1992, a total of 30 issues in the run (and a couple of anthologies published separately).
In late 2006, Dave Louapre announced there would be a collected edition published but the Canadian publisher they were in talks with went belly up later that year. Sweetman was last heard to be storyboarding the Get Smart remake starring Steve Carrell and Louapre was seeking other publishing alternatives.
