Bedford Bypass
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Bedford Bypass is a four lane highway connects Windmill Road or Route 7 in Dartmouth to Exit 1 of Highway 101 in the Lower Sackville area of the Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia.
The road was built in 1979 - 1980 to both complete the eastern section of Highway 101 and for the need for nearby truck (mainly B-Train) traffic from the nearby Burnside Industrial Park to bypass the former town of Bedford and the steep hill entering the former town. The speed limited is only 90 Km/Hour.
