Belinda Rio (born July 11, 1971) is an emerging Pop singer, finalist of a national singing competition. Most notable for her mysterious voice and wide vocal range.

[edit] Early years
BRIO was born in Brooklyn, New York, and is the youngest of three children. Belinda was raised in a religious household, and her first performing experience was singing as a little girl in church. In 1989, Belinda and family relocated to Florida where she has been active in community service as a church music leader, and soccer coach. In 2004, she began studding music, piano and vocals to launch her professional singing career.

In 2005, Belinda was selected to represent Florida at the 2005 World Showcase held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. She made it to the finals of the competition which aired on the PAX Television network January 2006.

Committed to her passion, Belinda and family entered the independent music industry taking on all aspects of the music business with little to n outside assistance. Her first tour was managed and promoted by her husband \ manager Andrew Anguelo.

On July 4, 2006, BRM Entertainment released Belinda’s first single CD “Touch Me Now”, containing her first original compositions "Touch Me Now", "Player", "We Got a Good Thing", and "Cotton Candy.
