Bell County High School

Bell County High School is the only high school in the Bell County School System in Bell County, Kentucky. It accommodates grades 9-12. It is commonly referred to as BCHS. The current building was built after the flood of 1977 and succeeds the former high school (known as Old Bell County High School) which was heavily flooded in '77 and is in a flood plain. The high school has many clubs and groups as well as sports and academic organizations.

Richard Mason placed 1st in the state BETA club convention in the Social Studies test. He is currently a freshman at Yale University

The football team won the 1991 Class AAA state football championship.
The 2005-2006 academic team went 16-0 in the 2005-2006 regular season and placed 5th place in state.
The Science Olympiad team placed 3rd in the 2006 state finals.
