Benjamin Joseph Johnson (born June 18, 1981 in Memphis, Tennessee) is a baseball outfielder in the New York Mets organization. He was a 4th round draft pick in 1999 by the St. Louis Cardinals. He debuted in the major leagues in 2005 and received limited playing time with the San Diego Padres, batting .250 with 4 home runs in 120 at-bats. He did not make the San Diego's 2006 playoff roster.
Johnson was traded to the New York Mets with relief pitcher Jon Adkins on November 15, 2006 in exchange for relievers Heath Bell and Royce Ring.
