Benjamin Carvosso

Benjamin Carvosso (1789 - 1854) was the first Wesleyan Minister to preach in Australia in 1820. He was the son of William Carvosso, one of the early Methodist class leaders in Cornwall. Benjamin ended his life in England, after returning from Australia in 1830.
