Bennie Dee Warner

Bennie Dee Warner is a Liberian politician. He served as the country's Vice-President from 1977 to 1980.
Warner was a bishop in the United Methodist Church before he was plucked from relative obscurity to become Vice President. After fleeing the military coup of Samuel Doe, Bishop Warner established residence in Arkansas, where he was appointed District Superintendent of the Camden District of the United Methodist Church. He retired from this position in 2003. Bishop Warner currently resides in Arkansas, where he remains active in the Arkansas Conference of the United Methodist Church.
