Bennigan's Grill & Tavern, commonly known as Bennigan's is an Irish pub-themed casual dining restaurant chain with locations throughout the United States. Franchises also exist in fourteen countries and 15 territories outside the continental U.S.

Bennigan's was established in 1976 in Atlanta, Georgia, but no longer has any restaurants in the city[1]. By the early 1980s Bennigan's had become one of the best known of the new style mid-range casual dining franchised "fern bar" eating and drinking establishments in the United States.

Bennigan's features a menu with typical American fare and Irish twists, including appetizers, sandwiches, and steaks. Restaurants also feature a full bar, with many varieties of beer available.

- Bennigan's was featured in the South Park episode "Butters' Very Own Episode" where in Butters looks forward to going with his family to celebrate his parents' anniversary despite several incidents pulling his family apart.
- Bennigan's was parodied on That '70s Show as "Blanigan's," a restaurant unlike the upscale dinner experience characters Red and Kitty expected.
- Another parody of the restaurant comes from the movie Super Troopers, when Farva is asked "Hey Farva, what's the name of the restaurant you like with all the goofy shit on the walls and the mozzarella sticks?" Though he answered Shenanigans, it is an obvious play on the title and the interior of the restaurant.
- Jon Stewart often comments that he "night manages a Bennigan's."
- Bennigan's is also referenced in an episode of the cartoon "Mission Hill".
- In the 2005 film Waiting... (which was filmed at a former Bennigan's location in Kenner Louisiana), the restaurant Shenanigans is loosely based on Bennigan's.
- In an episode of King of the Hill, Hank gets a noise level permit from the police for a party and claims, "They gave me the same noise level of Bennigan's." Also, in another episode, Bobby memorizes a commercial for a mall which lists popular stores, and the restaurants there were "Chili's and Bennigan's".
- In Dane Cook's HBO special "Vicious Circle" while telling a story about going to the movies, he says that his girlfriend did not want to partake of any movie treats as she was 'still full from Bennigans'. He goes on to say 'Who doesn't love that sampler!'
- In MC Chris' Fett's 'vette song, Bennigan's is considered a regular place for Star Wars fans to debate on their favorite issues.
- Bennigan's is referenced by the show 3 South in the episode "Stomach Pump 2000". It is mentioned as being "a place where it is not raining vomit".
- Bennigan's is mentioned in a Missy Elliot song on the Can't Hardly Wait soundtrack.
- In the movie Office Space, the inside of the resturant Chotchkies bears a strong resemblance to a Bennigan's. Especially the excessive decorations.
- In the TV series Lost episode titled "Tricia Tanaka is Dead" (The tenth episode of the third season, 2007). In a flashback Hugo Reyes/Hurley says he found his house staff the Trons at Bennigan's.
