Benojir Ahmed

Benojir Ahmed (1903-1983) was a Bangladeshi poet and writer. He was born in Narayanganj.

In the youth, he fought against the British colonialists and joined with the so called terrorists.
He was arrested and being handcuffed, crossed the river Padma to save life.
Later, he worked as a social worker and was an editor.

He was a Nazrulian writer. His literary works were included in the curriculum of school level, secondary and higher secondary Bengali Literature in Bangladesh.
